The Push is a Twin Cities project from Dave Wesley and Casey Borchert.  I met Dave years ago when he ran his sound empire under Sursumcorda (record label and nightclub).  He interviewed me on his radio show and gave me my first release under my MUMRA alias.

Both the Push, and his current solo music (available here under Dave Wesley), really developed over the years into this great sounding deep, dubby club music.   According to the data available on his site, it’s known as “Deep dub techno and deep house based on the principles of sacred geometry”.

The Push, Muladhara 117_4 Session v1

In particular I’m loving The Push, Muladhara 117_4 Session v1 which was released not too long ago in February 2011.  I’m definitely going to play some when I DJ out at Barbette/Red Stag over the next few months.  Perfect to set the mood and eat food.    You can find all the data about it below – check it out.

My Take:

Deep dub techno and deep house based on the principles of sacred geometry hot sex.

Perfect early evening club music.

Aids Digestion and Gestation.
